Vapour blasting is a non aggressive surface technique which uses a mix of media, water and compressed air specifically for components requiring a finer cleaning and polishing.

We use a Vixen hot parts washer to remove any oil or grease prior to blasting. This process needs to be carried out before any blasting can be carried out.

This is a process for removing surface deposits by applying fine glass beads at high pressure without damaging the surface.

They are two different processes, vapour blasting fires pressurised water for cleansing and dry blasting fires compressed air, a stream of abrasive material (blast media) to give a different surface finish.

We aim to give an approximate time for collection of the finished component, depending on the size of the item, degree of degreasing, vapour blasting or dry blasting required and also at what time we receive the item to be worked upon.

The cost to the customer is very individual depending on the service required, size of the item and severity of blasting required. Please refer to the vapour blasting price list which gives a guideline to costings.

If you are unable to drop your item off in person then there is an option of insured Royal Mail postage. After the job is complete return postage will be offered at an additional cost.
